SYPNow provides exchange rate information for the Syrian Pound (SYP) from multiple sources. This page explains our data sources, collection methods, and how to interpret the rates displayed.
Data Streams
Reference Rate
Global baseline rates from open exchange rate APIs. These rates are aggregated from international foreign exchange markets and provide a standardized reference point. Updated periodically (typically daily).
Official Rate
Rates from official sources when available. These would come from central bank publications or official government sources. This stream requires explicit configuration and may not always be available.
Market Rate
Parallel market rates from authorized data providers. This stream is only enabled when a legal, authorized API source is configured. If no legal source is available, this stream will show as unavailable.
