How often do fuel prices change in Syria?
The Ministry of Energy sets prices by decision with no fixed schedule; they changed six times between June and September 2026. We track them automatically, update this page and notify app users as soon as a change happens.
Is the price the same in every governorate?
Yes. The official price is the same at licensed stations across all governorates. Informal-market prices can differ during shortages; those are not official prices.
Who sets fuel prices?
Syria's Ministry of Energy sets gasoline, diesel and gas prices, and the Syrian Company for the Storage and Distribution of Petroleum Products (Mahrukat) distributes them. Official prices are announced in new Syrian pounds.
These are consumer prices at the pump and at licensed gas distributors, not wholesale or industrial prices.
